Concessions Stand

SFYHA family members are invited to work in the concessions stand at East Bethel Ice Arena on an occasional/as needed basis. 

Details

• SFYHA family members ages 14 - 17 may claim unfilled concessions stand shifts.
• Pay is $15 per hour.
• The concessions stand operates from mid-October through the end of February.
• Shifts may be available on weekdays & weekends

Age Requirements

• Ages 14 & 15
• During the school year may only work between the hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Friday for no more than 3 hours per day.
• Saturdays & Sundays between the hours of 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM for no more than 8 hours per day.  
• Ages 16 & 17
• During the school year cannot work after 11:00 PM on evenings before a school day or before 5:00 AM on school days.
• No hourly restrictions.  

Job Duties & Skills

• Take & prepare customer food & beverage orders in a fast-paced, event driven environment.
• Accept electronic & cash payment and make change as needed.
• Ensure the work area and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift. 

How It Works?

• Unfilled shifts are posted 72 hours prior to the start of the shift.
• Youth workers will receive information on how to access & pick-up open shifts.
• Interested youth workers can register here to be added to the unclaimed shift list.
• Hours are not guaranteed and available on an as needed basis

Training & Pay

• Training will be conducted prior to working in the concessions stand.
• Workers will be paid via check and notified when they can expect to pick-up their check.

Concession Stand Rules

• Friends are not allowed to visit during your shift.
• The concessions stand is a phone free zone. Phone can be accessed in the event of an emergency.
• No free food should be given to people you know.
